Movie Under the Stars

On Friday night we went to a movie in a local park. Before the movie,
which was Horton Hears a Who, there was a Guitar Hero final battle!
There were a couple thousand people there! The town is trying to
raise money for the hospital to get a CAT scan so all the proceeds
from the consession went towards that! The kids enjoyed the movie,
Ella was the only one who fell asleep before the movie was over!

Visit with an old friend

On Friday we went to visit an old friend of mine who was visiting from
Merrit,BC. She also happens to be the cousin of my sisters husband!
She was staying at her relatives place at a great beach. These
pictures were taken after the tide came in but before that just past
the rocks that you see it was all sandy beach! The kids spent for
ever looking for crabs, catching them and putting them in buckets!
(they did set them free after) Then they all coloured racks and
shells on the raft and played in the tree house! Ella got up but
couldn't get down! My friend had to go up and hand her down to me!!

Ella started out very affraid of Indy and would scream and cry. But
she has now decided he is her play buddy!

Hot August Night Market

Every Thursday in August there is a market not far from our house.
(But then nothing is far from our house!) On the 7th we went with
Auntie Tara! Declan took these pictures!
